Das folgende ist ein Ausschnitt einer Produktion des Royal Court Theatres, directed by Beckett himself: Happy Days. 1979. Ich habe damals gerade ein Gastsemester in Reading absolviert und bin zu einer der Aufführungen nach London gefahren.
Billie Whitelaw hat neben vielen anderen Filmen in Hitchcocks Frenzy mitgewirkt.

I am remembering her passionate eyes describing Sam’s „pale blue eyes“ at „the close of a long day“ of rehearsals when he would come home to her and the two of them would start murmuring the Mouth’s opening lines from NOT I: „Out…out into this world…“ It’s only then that they would get it right!
