I have news of an exhibition which will be ready to tour
in Germany should your department/university
library/municipal library be interested in Oscar Wilde
(please see attachment).
Joerg Rademacher, who is a freelance critic and translator
and perhaps best known for his biographies of J. Joyce and
O. Wilde (published by dtv), is currently putting together
an exhibition on the uncensored 1890 text of *The Picture
of Dorian Gray*.
The exhibition will open in Vienna (Department of
English/Irish Studies Centre) on 13 June 2014 together
with the launch of Rademacher’s new edition. Afterwards it
will probably travel to Berlin and be on display there in
September.
